Burglary charges: Dathan Harold Joel Daniels, 25, of 1025 S. Sunset Beach Road, was arrested Thursday and accused of a burglary and breaking in to a car during separate incidents in Buffalo Township earlier this year. Police charged Daniels with conspiracy to commit burglary, receiving stolen property and conspiracy in the burglary of a property at 627 Pleasant Valley Road on July 19 in which 26 pounds of copper was stolen from a barn and sold for $56 at a Canton Township scrap yard. Police said Daniels also stole $1,005 worth of tools from a vehicle parked at 228 McClelland Road on April 14. He faces charges of receiving stolen property, theft from a vehicle and loitering in connection with that case. District Judge Jay Weller arraigned Daniels, and he was taken to Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.
Two-car crash: State police said no one was injured when a westbound car driven by Megan A. Thomas, 30, of Washington, drifted across the center line along North Sunset Beach Road and crashed head-on into a car driven by Joshua McDonough, 31, of Taylorstown, near Newman Road in Buffalo Township shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Items stolen: Several items were stolen from a property at 1092 S. Sunset Beach Road in Buffalo Township on Wednesday, state police said. Investigators did not say what was stolen.
Conduct citation: State police said they cited Heather Young, 33, of Canonsburg, with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after she allegedly yelled at troopers while on Castle Road in Canton Township about 1:30 a.m. Friday.
Home burglary: A home in the 300 block of Oak Spring Road in Chartiers was burglarized Tuesday. One handgun, two shotguns, three rifles and $200 worth of change were stolen, township police said.
Guitar stolen: Chester Stone III, 22, of White Oak, was charged with theft and retail theft after Washington police said he stole a guitar from Buy & Sell Outlet at 172 S. Main St. about 8 a.m. Thursday. Police said they also plan to charge a 17-year-old girl who was with him in the store at the time.
Paraphernalia charge: Deana Hixenbaugh, 29, of 529 Bower Ave., Washington, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after city police said they found her with a syringe and pipe at 145 Henderson Ave. shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
