Pa. man who killed son’s pregnant girlfriend dies

PENN HILLS – A suburban Pittsburgh man who police say shot and killed his son’s pregnant girlfriend before turning the gun on himself has died.
The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review William Lieberth Sr. died Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say the 58-year-old Lieberth shot and killed 26-year-old Theresa Smith outside his auto body shop on Friday. The newspaper reports that Smith and one of Lieberth’s sons had two children together and were expecting a third.
