Simple assault charge: Waylon H. Hanlan, 26, of Greensboro, was charged with simple assault after attacking Chanel M. Forgen, 27, of Greensboro along South Eighty Eight Road in Monongahela Township Thursday, state police said. Hanlan was arraigned before District Judge Glenn Bates and placed in Greene County jail on $3,000 bond.
