Cornerstone Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. today in the log courthouse on East Greene Street, Waynesburg. Judge Farley Toothman will give a talk on Chautauqua. The public is invited.

Xi Lambda Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson Community Center. Hostesses will be Mary Jurcevich and Barb McMillen, who will present a program on Flight 93.

Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport fire hall. Bands scheduled to appear are Larry Santee and Ben Tharp and Sandy Lesco Huffman. The event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.
