State police conducted a DUI checkpoint Saturday on Jefferson Avenue in Canton Township and arrested five people for driving under the influence. Police also issued three seat belt citations; three driving under suspension citations; one citation for driving under suspension, DUI-related; and 13 other traffic citations. Police also made two misdemeanor arrests and issued 18 warnings.
