Harmony Presbyterian Church of Wind Ridge will have Robin and Paul Salosky at its morning worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday. The Salosky’s will be giving a presentation on their recent mission trip to Israel. Join our worship service and share in the presentation of this mission ministry.
A baked steak dinner will be held beginning at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Blacksville (W.Va.) Senior Center. The menu will include mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, rolls, homemade pies and cakes and beverages. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will shut off water on Porter Street in Waynesburg, covering an area about 2,000 feet from Woodland Avenue, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday. Customers may have low pressure or no water and are advised to fill some containers with water for their use.
Waynesburg High School Class of 1954 will gather at 4 p.m. Sept. 26 at Sorella’s Pizzeria, Mt. Morris, for its 60th reunion. The class will then meet at 4 p.m. Sept. 27 at The Lodge at Rohanna’s. For information and dinner reservations call Dena at 724-627-9627.
The Greene County Unit of the American Cancer Society will host “An Evening of Entertainment” at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center at Waynesburg University. The event is variety show which will feature local musical and vocal talent, light refreshments and a Chinese Auction all to benefit the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and $5 for university students. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at the Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce and McCracken’s Pharmacy.
