Tire slashed: The front tire of a sport-utility vehicle parked at 401 Washington St. in Bentleyville was slashed Sept. 5, causing $75 in damage, state police said.

Mailboxes vandalized: The doors on eight mailboxes were ripped off along South Sunset Beach Road in Buffalo Township, and mail was scattered across the road Aug. 29, state police said.

Disturbance at Cal U.: Khari Tart, 19, of Willow Grove, Montgomery County, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after California Borough police said he caused a disturbance at California University of Pennsylvania’s Herron Fitness Center about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was arraigned by District Judge Curtis Thompson and taken to Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Saw stolen: Gary Andreis of 800 Old Pond Road, Bridgeville, told police he parked his truck in the lot of the Sunoco station at 3232 Millers Run Road about 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, and when he returned, his $150 blue power saw was missing. The theft was reported at 7 a.m. Police said a car was seen leaving the area at the time the saw was stolen.

Theft charge: Alfred G. Sine, 20, of 176 Larimer Ave., Bobtown, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after state police said he sold tools, video game systems, video games and guns stolen Nov. 14 from a Stone Road home in East Finley Township. The items were worth a combined $5,000, state police said. He was arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger Wednesday and taken to Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

DUI charge: North Strabane police said they will charge Travis L. Beck, 24, of Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, with driving under the influence after he crashed his sport-utility vehicle into a tree and an unoccupied SUV in the Cambria Suites hotel parking lot along Racetrack Road about 1:45 a.m. Thursday. No one was injured in the crash, police said.

Retail theft: A Sonicare platinum toothbrush was stolen from CVS Pharmacy, 3870 Washington Road, township police said. The toothbrush is valued at $199.99. A man was seen running out of the store with the toothbrush at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday.

Prescription drug charge: Ginger Burket, 34, of Washington, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after state police said they found her in possession of Vicodin pills without a prescription during a traffic stop on Interstate 70 near the south junction about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Access device fraud: Southwest Regional police said they charged Ryan J. Martin, 19, of 2 Elrama Ave., Union Township, with access device fraud and unauthorized use of a vehicle in connection with an incident in Elrama Sept. 3.

Marijuana possession: State police said they charged James Wolf Jr., 29, and Matthew Powell, 31, both of Washington, with possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop on Cuhl Avenue in the city about 2:15 a.m. Thursday. Police said they also plan to charge Wolf with driving under the influence.

Disorderly conduct: Steven Loughman, 42, of 22 Victoria St., Washington, was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment after city police said he refused to leave his residence Sunday night after officers asked him four times to do so. Police did not elaborate on what led to them asking him to leave the home.
