HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — The Pennsylvania Republican Party is attacking Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf over his support for abortion rights and picturing him on a flier with a Philadelphia abortion doctor serving life in prison for killing babies who were born alive.

GOP spokeswoman Megan Sweeney on Tuesday wouldn’t say where or how many fliers were mailed.

Republican Gov. Tom Corbett opposes abortion rights.

A Wolf campaign spokeswoman accuses Corbett of mounting baseless attacks to mislead voters and says such politics have no place in Pennsylvania.

The flier features a photo of now-jailed Dr. Kermit Gosnell and the words “house of horrors,” a reference to a description of Gosnell’s clinic by Philadelphia’s district attorney. In capital letters, it asks “will pro-abortion Tom Wolf take us back?”

It was shut down in 2010.
