Contraband charge: Edgar Williams, 63, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Sunday by state police after he allegedly passed two compressed balls of marijuana to an inmate during a visit at the state Correctional Institution of Greene. The balls weighed about 38 grams, police said. Williams was charged with contraband and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He was jailed on $50,000 bond.

Ring found: A ring was found last week at the Waynesburg Post Office. The owner can claim the ring by contacting Waynesburg Borough police and providing a description of the item.
