Motorists are being advised of a single-lane restriction on Interstate 79 northbound between the Kirby and Waynesburg exits that went into effect Thursday and will continue through Dec. 1.

Traffic will be restricted to the left-hand lanes in order to allow crews to perform repairs on the hillside along the northbound lanes. The speed limit in the repair area will also be reduced to 45 mph.

Motorists should be prepared to slow down and use caution when traveling through all work zones.
