Marijuana, paraphernalia charges: Ronald Brown, 40, of 25 Lincoln Ave., Bulger, will be charged by McDonald police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, as well as traffic violations, after he was stopped for speeding on his motorcycle Saturday on Main Street, Burgettstown. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.
Door damaged: Ryan Lee Reynolds, 23, of Connellsville, was charged by California police with criminal trespass, criminal mischief, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct in connection with a March 28 incident. Police said he forced his way into an apartment at 54 Temperance Way, damaging the door.
Theft case: Terry Lee Diggs, 43, of 908 Prospect Ave., Charleroi, was charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft, receiving stolen property and harassment, accused of stealing a phone and house key from a woman about 8 a.m. Monday at his residence, court records show. He is in Washington County jail on a parole violation and $25,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Assault arrest: Bradley J. Russell, 41, of 1105 Oakland Ave., Charleroi, was arrested early Tuesday by Charleroi Regional police for allegedly choking his wife, Lyndsey Russell, during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Fugitive nabbed: Garry Allen Wolfe, 38, of Dublin, Ohio, was arrested Saturday as a fugitive from justice after state police received a bulletin he was in the area. He is wanted in Franklin County, Ohio, after being indicted last week on rape and other charges. Police in Ohio tracked his cellphone and learned he was near the Interstate 70 Welcome Center, Donegal. Police went to the center and found him in his truck. He was hospitalized and then arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Gary Havelka as a fugitive from justice. He was placed in Washington County lail without bond pending extradition to Ohio.
Underage drinking party: Seven people will be charged by McDonald police with underage drinking after they were called about 2 a.m. Monday to an apartment at 349 E. Lincoln Ave. Police found empty beer cans and wine cooler bottles along with a bottle of liquor. Charged were Jordan Heim, 19, who lives at the apartment; Zachary Kelly, 19, of Cecil; Cody Greer, 19, of Midway, three 14-year-old girls from Burgettstown, Morgan and Imperial and a 16-year-old McDonald boy. The juveniles were released to their parents. Charges will be sent from the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.
Faces charges in crash: Joshua David Ralston, 32, of Washington, faces charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance stemming from a crash on Interstate 70 east near the Murtland Avenue, South Strabane, exit Monday morning. State police said his vehicle hit the concrete barrier, spun around and came to rest in the middle of the highway. He told police he was on his way to a methadone clinic in Houston and reportedly admitted to taking narcotics. He was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
Mischief, disorderly charges: Chad Robert Gould, 41, of Las Vegas, Nev., was arrested about 1 a.m. Tuesday by Washington police after he allegedly broke the windshield and a side window, dented two doors and caved in the roof of a vehicle owned by Kristie Kirby while it was parked in the 400 block of East Prospect Avenue. When police arrived, Gould was reportedly jumping on the roof of the vehicle. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.
Assault of a child: Charles Melvin Caesar IV, 40, of 27 1/2 Shannon Ave., Washington, was charged by city police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly kicking his ex-girlfriend’s son March 29 at her residence on Church Street. Police said the child fell backward and struck his head on a table, causing a small cut. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Theft charge: Yolonda Saunders, 32, of 473 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, was charged by city police with theft for allegedly stealing $50 from Lisa Sheets at her residence on South Franklin Street Sunday. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Theft charge: Jonathan Gerhardt, of 69 W. Hallam Ave., Washington, was charged by city police with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a flat-screen TV from Dustin Phillips, whom he lived with prior to the incident on March 23. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
