Tire collection event planned

The Washington County Planning Commission, in conjunction with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and Keep Washington County Beautiful, will hold a tire recycling collection event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 30 at the Washington County Fairgrounds parking lot, 2151 N. Main St., Washington. The event is open to the public.
The fee schedule for tire disposal is: $2 per car or truck tire; $5 per tractor tire, and $15 per agricultural tire. Tires from commercial operations cannot be accepted. For more information call the planning commission at 724-228-6811 or visit www.co.washington, pa.us.
