Forensic scientist to speak at Cal U.
Renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry C. Lee will discuss “Lessons Learned from High-Profile Cases” from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday in the Convocation Center at California University of Pennsylvania.
Chief emeritus of the Connecticut State Police and founder of the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New Haven, Lee has investigated thousands of criminal, civil and historical cases over the past 40 years.
He is best known for his work on such well-publicized cases as those involving O.J. Simpson, Jon Benet Ramsey, Vincent Foster, Elizabeth Smart and Laci Peterson.
Lee’s talk at California University is co-sponsored by the Criminal Justice Club and the Forensic Science Club.
Admission is free to both the University community and the general public. Visitor parking is available in the Vulcan Garage, off Third Street near the campus entrance.
