Mother charged: Denise R. Robison, 42, of 803 Dividing Ridge Road, Amwell, was charged by state police with possession of heroin, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment after she was found passed out face down on the bathroom floor at her home from an apparent heroin overdose April 4. Police said the door was not locked and her three children had access to the stamp bags of heroin found in the bathroom. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Drug arrest: Brandon Lee Tomcanin, 29, of 427 Mount Tabor Road, Coal Center, was arrested Thursday by California police on drug charges stemming from an incident Tuesday at his business, Brandon’s Auto Body, 800 Wood St. Police were called to check the business, which appeared to be open with no one around, and spotted suspected drugs and paraphernalia. Police obtained a search warrant and found numerous items of drug paraphernalia, as well as four stamp bags of suspected heroin. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $30,000 bond.

Two charged: Brady D. Bertetto, 26, of Apollo, and Zachary Clayton Jones, 19, of 869 Rocky Run Road, West Finley, were each charged this week by state police stemming from a March 10 incident on S Bridge Road near Minor Road, Morris. Jones told state police Bertetto pulled his pickup truck in front of his vehicle, stopped and deliberately backed into it. Bertetto told police Jones hit his vehicle from behind and then got out of his vehicle, hitting the truck with a tire iron. Bertetto was charged with reckless endangerment. Jones was charged with criminal mischief. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Teen injured: Madison Grey, 18, of Washington, was injured when she crashed her vehicle about 12:30 a.m. Friday in the area of 273 Fort Cherry Road, Mt. Pleasant police said. She was driving south when her vehicle crossed the center line, hit a fire hydrant, embankment and fence and rolled over, police said. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment of back and arm pain. Police said she will be cited for traffic violations.

Accident: Justin Gompers, 21, of 111 Dogwood Circle, McMurray, was taken to Canonsburg Hospital following a one-car accident in the 100 block of Brook Drive in Venetia shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday. According to reports, Gompers was westbound on Brook Drive and looked away for a minute and hit an unoccupied Jeep.

Woman, toddler bit: South Strabane police said Kimberly Barlow, of 1835 N. Main St., and a 2-year-old child at the residence were bitten by a dog owned by Brandon Boring of 1829 N. Main St., about 6 p.m. Thursday. Animal Control Officer Kym Secreet was contacted and will determine if charges are warranted. The dog is up-to-date on its shots. The child was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

One injured: Darlene Mastroni, of North Main Street, was injured Thursday when her vehicle and a vehicle driven by Matthew Berty, Klinger Road, Cecil Township, collided at Trinity Point and East Beau Street, South Strabane police said.

Harassment, stalking arrest: Dustin Shane Phillips, 32, of 69 W. Hallam Ave., Washington, was arrested Thursday night by Washington police on charges of harassment, stalking and flight to avoid apprehension. He is accused of pulling Brittany Ellis’ hair and shoving Amber Campbell during an incident at 20 Cumberland Ave. Phillips left before police arrived. When officers spotted him in a lot at 378 W. Chestnut, he fled on foot and was caught. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Woman assaulted: Darnell Steven Brown, 35, of 439 Fayette St., Washington, was arrested Thursday night by Washington police on a charge of simple assault for allegedly choking, striking and dragging Kayla Camp to a vehicle outside a house in the 400 block of Fayette. The vehicle left the scene and was found in a parking lot on West Chestnut Street. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Man assaulted: Joyce Ann Cole, 48, of 616 Fayette St., Washington, was arrested early Friday by Washington police on a charge of simple assault after she allegedly hit Thomas Wormsley in the elbow with a hammer and struck him in the face with an ash tray at her home. She was gone but police found her a few blocks away. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Marijuana, paraphernalia charges: Sarah Weddington, 24, of 224 Lincoln Terrace, was charged Thursday by Washington police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after police allegedly smelled burning marijuana coming from her home Feb. 26. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft, drug charges: Casey O’Hare, 41, of 221 S. College St., Washington, was charged Thursday by Washington police with retail theft, possession of heroin, Suboxone and narcotics and paraphernalia. Police were called March 26 to Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., after she allegedly stole items from the store. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
