New York man facing rape charges
A New York man is charged with raping a boy in his East Washington home early Friday morning.
Marc Anthony Morales, 18, of Brooklyn, faces a string of charges in the alleged assault at 3:30 a.m. in a residence on Christman Avenue.
The boy’s mother told East Washington police her son woke up and realized Morales was inappropriately touching him.
Morales is charged with rape of an unconscious person, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of an unconscious person, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault of an impaired victim, corruption of minors and sexual exploitation of children.
He was arraigned by District Judge Larry Hopkins and placed in Washington County jail on $250,000 bond.
