Lane restrictions are expected to begin May 4 on the Route 18 bridge over Ten Mile Creek in Rogersville as part of a state Department of Transportation’s bridge preservation project.

The bridge is on the eastern side of Rogersville between Lightner Run Road and Stone Hill Road.

Single-lane restrictions are expected to be in effect for the eastbound lane from May 4 to June 8. The westbound lane will be closed from June 9 until July 28. Single-lane traffic will be maintained throughout the project by the use of temporary traffic signals.

The work will include repairing the concrete deck and concrete substructure, painting the steel beam spot zone, removal of sedimentation and debris and other miscellaneous construction.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution through all work zones.
