An “Evening of Music: Classic Memories” will present “jukebox favorites” with an evening of country, oldies and honkytonk music, with Bob Podish, Mark Davis, Al Anderson, Ramona Mills and Dave Clark. The event will be held Saturday night at the East Franklin Grange on Route 218. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $6 for ages 14 and older. Proceeds will benefit East Franklin Grange.

A “give-away” of clothing and other items will be held at Rogersville United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information call724-499-5385 or 724-499-5159.

A square dance, that will include also line dancing, polkas, a cake walk and more, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Center Township Fire Department in Rogersville. The caller will be Dave Dahl. The cost is $5 a person or $8 a couple. Beginners are welcome, or just come to watch. Food and drinks will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event benefits the auxiliary of Center Township Volunteer Fire Department. For more information call 724-499-5385.

Country music will be featured at the New Freeport Fire Hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Common Ground and Smokey Robbins will perform. Adminssion is $4. The event is sponsored by the fire department’s ladies’ auxiliary.

An all-class reunion of the Whiteley Township Consolidated School will be held Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate 54 years of educational excellence at the school, which opened in 1939 and closed following the 1993 school year. Former Whiteley students, teachers, staff, family and friends are invited to the gathering to reunite, renew friendships and share fond memories of past school days.
