PITTSBURGH (AP) – Authorities say two men in their late 20s were killed when a car crashed into a support column on a Pittsburgh underpass.

The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office identified the victims Tuesday as 27-year-old Michael DePalma and 28-year-old Gregory Scavincky.

Police say the Dodge Challenger burst into flames following the crash around 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Second Avenue in the city’s Uptown section.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
