Central Greene hires new staff

WAYNESBURG – Central Greene School Board hired four new staff members for the upcoming school year during its monthly committee meeting Tuesday night.

The board passed a motion to hire Corinne McIe as the health room assistant at the elementary school.

Kayla Cook was hired as a temporary professional employee as the seventh-grade math teacher at Margaret Bell Miller Middle School.

The speech and language temporary professional employee teaching position at the elementary school was filled with the hiring of Annie McLaughlin.

The board also voted to hire Megan Zyra as the special education English teacher at Waynesburg Central High School.

All new employees will be hired effective Aug. 18 in time for the start of the new school year.

The board also accepted the resignation from Julie Edgreen as the health room assistant at Margaret Bell Miller Middle School.
