Southwest Regional police have announced a special, comprehensive traffic detail in Union Township being done at the request of township supervisors.

Specific patrols will be assigned to traffic enforcement on varying days, times and locations.

Special enforcement was also done last month, with numerous traffic stops for violations including stop signs, speeding, suspended licenses and not having vehicles inspected. Several people also were picked up on outstanding arrest warrants.
