Throckmorton United Methodist Church will hold a free community dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today. The menu will include creamed chicken over biscuits, mashed potates and gravy, corn, fruit cup, desserts and beverages. Donations are accepted. Take-out orders area available.

Descendants of Russell and Ivy Deems will hold a family reunion Saturday, Aug. 22, at Lions Park in Waynesburg. Dinner will be at 1 p.m. Meat will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, a gift for auction and a $1 gift for the numbers game. A corn hole tournament will be held.

Greater Waynesburg Christian Outreach will offer free, gently used clothing at the First Baptist Church, corner of West and High streets, Waynesburg, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.
