AKRON, Ohio – An Ohio man was sentenced to two years in prison after being convicted of stabbing a landscaper who he said got grass clippings on his truck.

Northeast Ohio Media Group reported 71-year-old John Fenwick of Akron was sentenced Thursday in Summit County Common Pleas Court. A jury convicted Fenwick last month.

NEOMG reports Fenwick stabbed the 19-year-old landscaper in August 2014. The dispute began with Fenwick shoving the landscaper in the back as he mowed, prompting the teen to shove Fenwick back. Fenwick then used a small knife to stab the teen in the shoulder after the landscaper got into his truck. The teen tackled and punched Fenwick before driving off and calling police.

Fenwick also went to prison in 1990 after pleading guilty to rape.
