Greene man accused of hitting woman with shovel
Jarred C. Evosevich, 36, of 213 Williamson Hill Road, Dilliner, faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment after state police in Waynesburg responded to a domestic disturbance Friday.
According to a report, police were called to a home on Minor Street, Greensboro, just after 9 p.m. When they arrived, police found a 38-year-old woman with major injuries to her back and minor injuries to her face. The woman told police Evosevich smashed several windows in her vehicle with a metal spade shovel before striking her in the mouth with a closed fist and hitting her in the back with the shovel. She was transported to Uniontown Hospital.
