Interstate 79 northbound reopens after crash near Canonsburg

Traffic on Interstate 79 northbound is moving again after several multi-vehicle crashes Tuesday morning between the 46 and 47 mile markers near the Canonsburg interchange.
State police said that about 7:15 a.m., it appears a wheel might have fallen off a vehicle in the opposite direction and rolled into the northbound lanes, causing drivers to abruptly slow.
