Fight at VFW parking lot: George E. Durbin Jr., 47, of Nemacolin, and Wayne E. Whipkey, 45, of Brave, were cited for disorderly conduct after a fight Aug. 8 in the Carmichaels VFW parking lot, Cumberland Township police said. Durbin was also cited for harassment.

Computer code reader stolen: Gerald L. Harden, 48, of McClellandtown, was charged with theft after he took a vehicle computer code reader from a friend May 25 and then allegedly sold it to another person for $20. Police filed the charge Aug. 18.

Two cited for fight: Robert J. Stanislawski, 49, and Rachel M. Thistlewaite, 34, both of 82 Jefferson Estates, Waynesburg, were each cited for disorderly conduct and harassment following a fight at their Morgan Township residence Aug. 14, state police said.

Simple assault: Teresa Jones, 45, of Wind Ridge and her 15-year-old son face charges after allegedly being involved in a fight on Aleppo Road at 6:20 p.m. Monday, state police said. Jones suffered a scraped forearm and knee. A juvenile petition will be filed against the teen for simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Jones will be cited for harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.

Burglary: Modern Image at 10 W. Lincoln St. was broken into between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Waynesburg police said. A window was broken to gain entry to the building. Nothing was stolen.
