Burglary: Three chainsaws were stolen from a garage at a house on Valley Farm Drive between 2 p.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday, state police said. The property is owned by Charles Shriver of Waynesburg.

Man charged: Brian L. Raschella, 25, of Mannington, W.Va., was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped on Interstate 79 at 9:30 a.m. Friday for allegedly driving 103 mph in a 65 mph zone, state police said. Police said Raschella threw two bags of marijuana from his vehicle before coming to a stop and was in possession of two pipes.
