Post cited: The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited the operators of Taylorstown American Legion Post 907, Blaine Township, with allowing gambling or gambling devices on the premises July 22.

Motorcyclist hurt: Jesse Price, 57, of 249 Vine St., Canonsburg, was injured when the motorcycle he was operating and a car driven by Georgina E. Stasiowski, 65, of 645 Woodland Road, Canonsburg, collided at the intersection of East College Street and Greenside Avenue about 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Canonsburg police said. Charges are pending against Price, who was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Break-in try: Ross C. Howley, 131 ½ N. Jefferson Ave., told Canonsburg police Friday that an attempt was made to break in to his apartment.

Ring stolen: Nicole Martinez of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police that her engagement ring was stolen Friday from 129 ½ Greenside Ave.

Air conditioner stolen: Stella Badia of 502 Euclid Ave. told Canonsburg police Friday a window air conditioner she recently purchased was stolen from the trunk of her car.

Club cited: The operators of the Miners Club of Richeyville, Centerville, were cited Friday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with allowing gambling or gambling devices at the club.

Debit card, drugs stolen: Police are investigating two separate thefts that happened between Thursday and Monday at Paramount Senior Living Facility, 240 Cedar Hill Drive, McMurray. The first theft involved a prepaid debit card stolen from a secure drawer and used to make four fraudulent charges in Washington. In the other incident, the facility’s hospice manager said a secured box that contained controlled substances was missing.

Driver flees: Smith police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that crashed through a fence and went into a field in the 1500 block of Route 18 just after 9 p.m. Monday. Members of an ambulance crew told police that when they arrived, someone had been picked up in a vehicle that was driving off. The owner of the vehicle told police he gave it to a Bentleyville man to test drive because the man was going to buy it. A witness told police two vehicles passed him going south, and the vehicles were drag racing when when one of them went off the road.

Beams stolen: A resident of Highland Avenue, Union, told Southwest Regional police Thrusday that five cross beams were stolen from the wooden fence in her yard.

Items stolen: Paula Jones of 154 N. College St. told Washington police Monday that prescription medication, her checkbook and a key were stolen from her apartment.

Paraphernalia charge: Joseph R. Kubas, 33, of Morgantown, W.Va., will be charged by Washington police with possession of drug paraphernlia after police say he overdosed on heroin Monday night at a home at 479 Broad St. Police said they found empty stamp bags that are believed to have contained heroin. Kubas was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Wallet stolen: Brittany Sillers of Washington told Washington police Monday that her wallet containing $250 and debit cards was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Attempted burglaries: Washington police said attempts were made Monday to break into offices at the Washington Trust Building, 1 S. Main St.

Office burglarized: Washington police said men’s eyeglass frames valued at $4,900, a computer and business card holder were reported stolen Monday from the Eye Gallery of Washington office at 150 W. Beau St.

Window broken: Robert Dyson of Fourth Street told Washington police Monday the driver’s side window of his vehicle was broken.

Shop burglarized: Tools and a computer were reported stolen Monday from Quick Lube, 308 Ridge Ave., Washington police said. A rock may have been used to break a window at the business.
