The Community Foundation of Greene County is accepting applications for its fall community grants program.

Applications will be accepted until Oct. 1 for project activities beginning in December or after.

The foundation expects to award three to five grants ranging from $500 and $2,000 per project. Successful grant awards will be announced in late November or early December.

Eligible applicants include nonprofit, charitable, tax-exempt organizations, as well as educational institutions or schools, religious organizations and government organizations whose purpose and programs benefit Greene County residents.

Community Foundation seeks to fund organizations and ideas that will have a significant and lasting impact on Greene County, its residents, infrastructure and future.

Applicants do not need to identify the specific grant priority.

Grant applications must be received in the Community Foundation’s office in Waynesburg no later than 4 p.m. Oct. 1. Applications may be hand-delivered, mailed, emailed or faxed.
