Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will shut off water to customers on Crucible Road, from Tin Can Hollow Road to Carmichaels Street, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday to make system upgrades. Customers may experience low pressure or no water and are advised to keep some containers of water on hand to minimize the outage. The authority will also shut off water to customers on East Fourth Street, Fifth Avenue, Fourth Avenue and parts of First Street in Crucible between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday to make system upgrades.
