Editor’s note: In the police beat report from Carroll Township involving Wiliam Catalina, all charges have been dropped and the record was expunged.

Burglary arrest: William Catalina, 55, of 5416 Sunset View Drive, Forward Township, Allegheny County, was charged by township police with burglary and loitering over accusations he entered a house on Valley Avenue about 7 p.m. Wednesday, court records show. He is free on unsecured bond set by District Judge Jay Weller. (See update above)

Heroin arrest: Devon Johnson-Brown, 26, of Duquense, was charged by Charleroi Regional police with possession of 22 stamp bags of heroin with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse of him of possessing the drugs and $580 about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at 407 Sixth St. in Charleroi. He is in Washington County jail without bond on Washington County bench warrant.

Stolen guns: Victor Renail-Brown, 29, of 1109 Lower Crest Ave., Charleroi, was charged by Charleroi Regional police with two counts each of possessing firearms as a convict and receiving stolen property and one count of drug possession with intent to deliver. Police accused him of storing two stolen handguns and a small amount of crack in his residence about 10:40 p.m. Dec. 7. He is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant Wednesday and arraigned by District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft case: Linsey Rae Williams, 28, of 27 Hi-View Drive, Finleyville, is charged by city police with theft and felony retail theft, accused of stealing merchandise while working Sept. 16 at a 7-Eleven at 200 Dry Run Road and returning the items for cash, court records show. Williams is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond after being arrested Wednesday on a fugitive warrant and arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson.

Items stolen: Dennis Devenney Jr., 37, of 579 McClane Farm Road, was placed in Washington County jail Thursday after arraignment before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a $5,000 percentage bond. He is charged with receiving stolen property after allegedly selling items stolen from his neighbor’s garage to Zavacki’s Swap Shop, 159 N. Main, Nov. 13. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 29.

Items stolen: Joe Terrell, of 356 Locust Ave., reported to Washington police Wednesday a number of items, including a phone charger, were stolen from his vehicle between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Intimidation charge: Barry L. Clouston, 57, of 484 Cross Creek Road, Avella, was placed in Washington County jail on a $10,000 bail Thursday after being arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger. Clouston is charged with ethnic intimidation and two counts of harassment for allegedly calling the state police barracks on Murtland Avenue several times in the early morning of Oct. 1. Clouston allegedly used ethnic slurs and cursed at a communications officer after saying he had many guns in his home. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 29.

Drug charges: Leon L. McClain, 26, no known address, was placed in Washington County jail Thursday after an arraignment before District Judge Robert Redlinger on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass. McClain was allegedly found in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia on two separate occasions, at 820 W. Chestnut St. on Nov. 16, and at the intersection of Wylie and Jefferson avenues Sept. 21. He is also accused of being in possession of drug paraphernalia and being in an abandoned building at 30 W. Chestnut St. on Aug. 6. He is in jail on a $20,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 30.
