Eighty Four man charged with child porn possession
A Washington County man was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on child pornography charges, U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton announced Friday.
According to the two-count indictment, Michael G. Williams, 47, of Eighty Four, knowingly received visual depictions involving children engaging in sexually explicit conduct between June 18 and 25. The indictment further charges that on July 15, Williams unlawfully possessed files, photographs and videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The FBI conducted the investigation leading to the charges.
The law provides for a maximum total sentence of 30 years in prison, a fine of $500,000 or both.
