Fourth person charged in shooting that killed teen, injured two
PITTSBURGH (AP) – A fourth person has been charged in Western Pennsylvania in a drive-by shooting that killed a Pittsburgh teenager and wounded two other people.
Nineteen-year-old Keyshawn Givens of Pittsburgh is charged with homicide, aggravated assault and other offenses in the Sept. 10 death of 15-year-old Curtis Pounds. Twenty-year-old Daquan Moore and two 17-year-olds were charged earlier.
Authorities allege in a criminal complaint that an unnamed witness said the defendants were driving and spotted Pounds walking home from a football game with a friend. The witness said Givens stuck a .22-caliber rifle out the window and fired more than two dozen times, killing Pounds and injuring the friend and a 43-year-old man.
Court documents don’t list an attorney for Pounds; a listed phone number for him couldn’t be found Saturday.
