Students in Trinity High School’s German classes were given an opportunity to share some of the German traditions with the local community Monday.

First, they baked dozens of traditional holiday cookies, such as spritzgebaeck, and then passed them out to residents of nearby Trinity Park, as they sang German Christmas carols, such as the popular “O Tannenbaum,” merrily marching through the neighborhood spreading holiday cheer. The students were accompanied by three high school German teachers.
