Christopher M. Napolitan, 36, of 2445 Wedgemere St., Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of simple assault, burglary, two counts of harassment, terroristic threats and criminal trespass for allegedly forcing his way into the home of Autumn Glevicky, 1458 Robinson Highway, McDonald, and assaulting her Dec. 19.

According to the complaint, Napolitan repeatedly called and texted Glevicky before showing up at her home.

Glevicky told police she tried to close the door on Napolitan, but he stuck his foot in the door and pushed his way in.

Napolitan allegedly assaulted Glevicky for about 40 minutes before she was able to get to her phone. She had a contusion to her eye and bruised ribs, police said.

Napolitan was arraigned before District Justice Joshua Kanalis on Wednesday and placed in Washington County jail on a $25,000 bond. Preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 5.
