Dunkard man guilty of assault
A Dunkard Township man accused of sexually assaulting two teenage boys on multiple occasions earlier this year pleaded guilty Wednesday in Greene County Court.
Gary Lee Black, 53, pleaded guilty to two felony counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and corruption of minors, along with six misdemeanor counts of indecent assault in the assaults of two boys, ages 14 and 16, between May 29 and June 19.
Greene County Assistant District Attorney Christina DeMarco said Black agreed to the plea deal that includes a prison term of 4 to 8 years, although he must undergo an assessment before being sentenced early next year.
DeMarco said Black must now register as a lifetime offender on the state police Megan’s Law website.
Black’s bond was revoked following the plea hearing, DeMarco said.
Black was arrested July 15 during a multi-agency police sweep in Greene County.
