Waynesburg Senior Center’s Silver Sneakers program will start weekly yoga classes. Call Tina at 724-627-6366 for dates and times. The center also will sell tickets for a king-size quilt to be raffled May 7. The quilt is a Butterfly Quilt made by Pansy Six and quilted by the senior center. Tickets are $2 each. The Caregivers Support Group of Greene County will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Guesman Room at Southwest Regional Medical Center. This month’s meeting will be a time for members to share resources and experiences with care giving. Anyone caring for a patient in the home or who is responsible for a resident of a personal care home or nursing home is welcome to attend. The Greene County 4-H Sheep Breeding and Market Lamb Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Cooperative Extension Office in Waynesburg. The Waynesburg University Symphonic Band Mid-Winter Concert will be held at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Marsh Center in Roberts Chapel. There will be a reception immediately following the performance. Admission is free and the public is invited. The Symphonic Band will perform familiar melodies from a variety of folk song traditions. No reservations are necessary for this event.
