Man arrested: James Lee Blankinsop, 22, of 935 Ewing St., Washington, was arrested Wednesday on charges of driving under the influence and unsafe driving filed by state police stemming from an incident Dec. 31 on S Bridge Road in Buffalo Township. He was arraigned before District Judge James Ellis and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

DUI, drug charges: Matthew John Withers, 29, of 414 E. Fourth Ave., Langeloth, was charged by McDonald police in connection with a traffic stop Sunday night on Route 18, Burgettstown. Withers is charged with DUI – alcohol , possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and paraphernalia, having an open container of alcohol and careless driving. Police spotted him driving off the road and onto the sidewalk. He had a cold can of beer in the console. Police also found suspected methadone pills and marijuana. His blood-alcohol content was almost 2 ½ times the 0.08 limit. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Club cited: The operator of the Italo-American Citizens Club of California, 12 Pennsylvania Ave., California, was cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allowing gambling on the premises Jan. 19.

Assault arrest: Dylan Joshua Patch, 21, of 855 Meldon Ave., Donora, was charged Wednesday with flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest, public drunkeness and simple assault after he allegedly got into a fight in front of J. Coles bar, 332 Third St., Wednesday, California police said. When police arrived, he fled but was later apprehended. Patch was arraigned before District Justice James Ellis and Patch was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Theft charge: Caressa D. Garrison, 25, of 242 Kings Road, Chartiers Township, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge David Mark on a charge of felony retail theft filed by Canonsburg police. She is accused of putting items in her purse at Dollar General June 27. A store employee confronted her and took back the items before she fled from the store. She was released on her own recognizance.

Charged in crash: Damien J. McIntyre, 36, of 473 Cleveland Road, North Franklin Township, was charged Wednesday by Chartiers police with DUI – controlled substance and careless driving stemming from a Jan. 16 crash in front of 1596 Henderson Ave. Police said he hit three boulders and a utility pole, causing his vehicle to roll over. He told police that he had taken Vicodin. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Two charged: Michael Fowler, 27, of McClay Road, Washington, and Michael G. Jackson, 39, of 3998 Park Ave., Prosperity, were charged Tuesday by East Washington police with possession of heroin, marijuana and paraphernalia stemming from a Nov. 11 traffic stop at the intersection of South Wade Avenue and East Wheeling Street. Fowler, who was the driver, also was charged with driving with a suspended license. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Gambling infractions: State police at The Meadows Casino, North Strabane, charged Bruno A. Tomaino, 80, of McKees Rocks, and Arjun Dulal, 22, of Pittsburgh, for allegedly capping bets at a gaming table. Tomaino is accused of doing it Nov. 19 while Dulal allegedly capped a bet Sunday. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: Barbara Godshalk, 56, of Westover, W.Va., was charged Wednesday with theft of mislaid property by state police at The Meadows Casino, North Strabane, for allegedly stealing a wallet containing $60 and electronic cigarette left behind by a customer. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Fleeing, reckless charges: Gerald R. Pastor, 60, of Bentleyville, was charged last week by South Strabane police with fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and careless driving. He is accused of driving his vehicle in reverse for almost four miles on Route 136 last October and failing to stop for officers. He told police he could not get the vehicle in drive, which police confirmed. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

PFA violation: James Michael Stout, 29, of 132 Country Club Road, Washington, is being held in the Washington County jail for violating a protection from abuse order. Court records show Stout is accused of sending numerous texts and made calls to a Washington woman. Stout was arraigned Wednesday before District Justice James Ellis.

Terroristic threat charge: Amy Marie Klaas, 26, of 236 Lincoln Terrace, Washington, was charged by Washington police with terroristic threats and harassment after she allegedly threatened a man by text message Tuesday. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charge: Ashley Kokladas, 18, of 846 Ewing St., Washington, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Washington police after her father turned over stamp bags and other drug related items to police Tuesday. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charges: Michael Kevin Stuart Jr., 27, whose last known address was 1658 Westmoreland St., Pittsburgh, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, use of drug paraphernalia and possession with the intent to deliver cocaine after state police seized drug-related items, cocaine and marijuana while executing a search warrant in the city. Additional information was not available. Stuart is in the Allegheny County jail on a $25,000 bond.

Escapes injury: Jordan Bogden, 26, of Washington, escaped injury when he crashed his pickup truck on Beham Ridge Road near Fraction Road, West Finley, just before 8 a.m. Thursday. State police said he was driving south when he swerved to avoid a deer. His truck went over an embankment and rolled over, hitting a tree. He will be charged with failure to drive at a safe speed and failure to stay in his lane.
