Several defendants admitted into ARD

WAYNESBURG – Several criminal defendants were entered into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program last week by Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.

Those accepted into the program must serve at least one year’s probation and pay all fines and costs. Defendants charged with driving under the influence of alcohol also may have their driving privileges suspended and be required to refrain from the use or possession of alcohol.

Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged.

Admitted were:

Seth Michael Allen Lilley, 21, of 323 N. Market St., Carmichaels, charged with failing to provide immediate notice of an accident to police and four summary traffic violations; Lilley’s vehicle struck a tree on June 25 on Browns Ferry Road; he left the scene and later told police he had been drinking; he was ordered to perform 90 hours of community service and must pay $275 in fines.

Kayla A. Corcoran, 23, of 780 Peregrine Drive, Irwin, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and two summary traffic violations; arrested May 3, she had a blood-alcohol level of .155 percent; she must perform 90 hours of community service and pay $50 in fines; no license suspension.

Robert Ellison, 68, of 359 Browns Creek Road, Waynesburg, charged with DUI and three summary violations; arrested May 29 following a two-vehicle crash, Ellison had a BAC of 0.251 percent; he was ordered to perform 90 hours of community service, given a 60-day license suspension and must pay $75 in fines.

Michael Dewayne Clemens, 45, of 120 Liberty St., Waynesburg, charged with DUI and disorderly conduct; he was arrested after being stopped July 6 for spinning tires on McCracken Way in Waynesburg; his BAC was 0.130 percent; he must perform 90 hours of community service, was given a 30-day license suspension and must pay $250 in fines.

Roy E. Ravenscraft, 46, of 29 Garden Lane, Uniontown, charged with DUI and a summary violation; arrested July 12, following a single-car crash, Ravenscraft had a BAC of 0.177 percent; he must perform 90 hours of community service; was given a 60-day license suspension and must pay a $25 fine.
