BRISTOL (AP) – Rescue crews are searching for a worker trapped in a silo collapse at an industrial park along the Delaware River in suburban Philadelphia.

Firefighters responded to the collapse at the Riverside Industrial Complex in Bristol Township around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

They’re using search dogs to comb through the debris.

The collapsed silo is used to store raw materials off loaded from cargo ships docking at an adjacent deep-water port. It’s part of a complex of facilities used to store scrap steel, gypsum, coal, grain, salt, fertilizer and other materials.

Officials haven’t said what caused the collapse.

An investigation is continuing.
