Smoking cessation program to be offered

A free program designed to help people who want to quit using tobacco was announced by the Greene County Tobacco Control Program.

The Bee Free Program, which features Freedom from Smoking, is designed to help people gain strength and reinforcement to quit. The program will begin with an introductory session at 5 p.m. Thursday at Southwest Regional Medical Center, 350 Bonar Avenue, Waynesburg. The remaining sessions of the program will be held Jan. 20, 27 and Feb. 3, 5, 10, 17 and 24.

Greene County Tobacco Control Program is registered in the Pennsylvania Department of Health approved list of cessation programs.
