W.Va. man dies in wreck in Dunkard

A West Virginia man died in a one-car crash Friday night on Route 88 in Dunkard Township.

State police in Waynesburg reported Robert Carl Fortney, 70, of Albright, was driving northbound near Dilliner Convenience Store when he lost control of the vehicle on a sharp left turn and struck a tree.

He was pronounced dead at 8:18 p.m. by Greene County Deputy Coroner Mary Lewis.
