The man shot Monday night during a home invasion at his West Pike Run Township residence remains hospitalized, but has been upgraded to fair condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Robert Yarnovich, 69, was still recovering Friday afternoon at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh from a gunshot wound to his chest when a person entered his home at 73 Woodland Road and ransacked it.

Meanwhile, state police said the investigation into the home invasion is continuing and they have no new information on the assailant.
