Nighttime single lane restrictions on Interstate 70 will occur between Exit 49 (Smithton exit) and one mile east of Interstate 70 Exit 51 (Route 31 exit) in Westmoreland County through July 24.

There will be a single lane closure of the right, westbound lane from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly now through July 13.

There will be a single lane closure, right, eastbound lane nightly from July 13 through 24. .

These restrictions will be in place so that test borings can be done for an interchange reconfiguration and roadway improvement project.
