An 18-foot-wide bridge on Hufford Run Road over Ten Mile Creek, West Bethlehem Township, is scheduled to close Monday and and remain closed for the rest of July.

Work is being done to repair the wing wall damaged as a result of flooding June 16, according to the Washington County Bridge Department. Yellow tape, barrels and stop signs have kept vehicles away from the damaged side of what is known as the Smith Bridge. While the repairs are being made to the wing wall, additional maintenance will be performed. Because the bridge is not considered heavily traveled, no detour will be posted, but the county has notified public safety agencies.

Hufford Run serves as the border between West Bethlehem and Amwell townships.
