Ramps stolen: Christopher L. Welch of Cottonwood, Ariz., told state police Monday loading ramps for all-terrain vehicles were stolen from property off Rural Valley Road in Buffalo Township.
Toy car damaged: Danesha Harris of 815 Dawson St. told Canonsburg police Wednesday her son’s motorized riding car was damaged. A neighbor told her she saw other children riding it around the area.
Vehicle damaged: Shanna Lee Deithorn of 219 Vine St. told Canonsburg police Wednesday there were scratches all over her vehicle and a quarter tank of gasoline was stolen from it.
Window broken: Canonsburg police said a rear window was broken Tuesday in a van owned by Bulldog Consulting, 301 Adams Ave.
Drug charges: Tiffany Danielle Hodson, 25, of Wilson Street in North Franklin Township, was charged Wednesday by state police with possession of cocaine, suboxone, marijuana and paraphernalia after she allegedly was found with the suspected drugs when troopers were called to an incident June 17 at Red Roof Inn, West Chestnut Street, Canton. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Charged in stop: Amy Elizabeth Martin, 23, of 500 W. Wylie Ave., Canton, was charged Wednesday by state police with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of marijuana and careless driving stemming from a May 29 traffic stop at the intersection of West Wylie and Meadow Avenue, Canton. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Theft from vehicle: Naomi Roberts of Coal Center told Southwest Regional police items were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked outside her home June 24, The thief also rummaged through the center console and glove box.
Child endangerment charge: Heather Ann Dillon, 38, who is currently in Washington County jail, was charged by McDonald police with endangering the welfare of children and possession of paraphernalia stemming from a June 22 incident on Railroad Street. Dillon was a passenger in a vehicle that reportedly was driving slowly in the area with a 5-year-old boy inside who was not in a restraint system. Police said Dillon also had empty stamp bags, used syringes and tourniquets in a makeup bag in her purse. She was placed in jail on a bench warrant. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.
Driver faces charges: Henry Michael Johnson, 26, of 16 E. Pitt St., Canonsburg, faces a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after he nearly hit a flagger working in the construction area on Brownlee Road at Route 519 just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, North Strabane police said. Police said the flagger, Mary Zook, 41, of Brilliant, Ohio, scraped her elbow when she fell as she jumped out of the way. Police said they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. Johnson was taken to Canonsburg Hospital, where blood was drawn.
Fraud attempt: Ken Krava of Union told Southwest Regional police Tuesday an attempt was made to change the deposit information on his Social Security account.
Burglary: Police are investigating a burglary in the 100 block of Shaw Avenue. James Grayson reported his television was stolen Wednesday.
