Numerous people appeared recently in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge Edward Borkowski were:
Andrew A. Griffith, 27, of West Alexander; DUI-second offense; charged Oct. 16; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with the first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and $1,500 fine.
Larry A. Zombeck, 66, of 105 Coal St., McDonald; DUI-first offense, driving under suspension and accidental damage to unattended property; charged Dec. 18; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with 6 days on electronic home monitoring, $2,300 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.
Michael R. Tatar, 57, of 61 Hoon St., Monongahela; DUI-first offense; charged Nov. 3; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with 6 days on electronic home monitoring and $1,000 fine.
Samuel E. Scherich, 25, of 600 Gunn Ridge Road, West Finley; DUI-second offense and accidental damage to unattended property; charged Aug. 24; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with the first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,800 fine and 18-month driver’s license suspension.
