Theft reported: Carolyn Pawlish of 143 Vance St., Burgettstown, told McDonald police Thursday a Samsung Galaxy tablet was stolen from her home several weeks ago.

Player charged: Russell K. Moldenhauer, 27, of San Antonio, Texas, who was in the area over the weekend as a member of the Frontier League’s Joliet Slammers, was charged by Canonsburg police with public drunkenness after he allegedly was found on the porch of a home on Ketchum Drive. Police were called to the home for a report of a man on the residents’ porch, breaking things. Police said they learned Moldenhauer was at a party in the Canonsburg area. He was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment and then released to a team official.

Handgun stolen: Adam Petris of 418 Georgetown Road, Lawrence, told police July 4 a Smith & Wesson 40-caliber handgun had been stolen from his vehicle.

Tools missing: A chainsaw, blower, weed trimmer and socket set were reported missing July 3 from a garage belonging to Joseph Chirumbolo of 7 Ridge Street, Hendersonville.

Drug charges: Douglas Louk Jr., 19, of 1045 Fourth St. Extension, Charleroi, was arraigned Thursday on a warrant obtained by Charleroi Regional police stemming from a May 8 incident in the 200 block of McKean Avenue. Police said they found him with suspected Subutex and paraphernalia. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and loitering and prowling at night. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

Assault charges: Joseph D. Caputo IV, 28, of 114 Frederick Terrace, Fredericktown, was arrested Monday by state police after he allegedly hit Felicia Gordon twice in the eye during a confrontation at his East Bethlehem Township home. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of simple assault and harassment. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Assault arrest: George R. Bane, 56, of 46 Besco St., Clarksville, was arrested Friday by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment. He is accused of pushing and punching Mary Lynn Bane during a confrontation at their East Bethlehem Township home. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released from Washington County jail after posting $10,000 bond.

Jewelry reported stolen: Ian M. Flaherty, 30, of 205 Jobes St., Roscoe, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by Roscoe-Elco-Stockdale-Allenport regional police on charges of burglary, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly breaking into the Elco home of Dawn Leyda June 29 and stealing jewelry. Some of the items were later found at a resale shop in Belle Vernon. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.

Drug charges: Dylan T. Wysni, 22, of McKeesport, was arrested Thursday by Hanover police after he allegedly was found with suspected marijuana and cocaine in the parking lot of First Niagara Pavilion. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct. He was released from Washington County Jail after posting $25,000 bond.

Assault, drug charges: Harold Edward Loar, 47, of 2299 Avella Road, Independence, was arrested Sunday night by McDonald police on charges of simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment and disorderly conduct. He is accused of grabbing Michele Herrod by the throat during an argument over his consumption of alcohol and smoking of marijuana. Police said they found a marijuana pipe in his pocket. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Lawn mowers stolen: James Zediker of 312 Grove Road, Morris, told state police Saturday his two Toro self-propelled lawn mowers were stolen from his property.

Driver injured: Markus Adams, 30, of Pittsburgh, was injured Saturday afternoon when the tanker he was driving went off S Bridge Road near Mt. Zion Road, Morris, and rolled over.

Drug charges: Jesse Wayne Inman, 28, of 625 North Main St., Washington, and Michael Brandon Vulcano, 24, of 113 Deerlick Station Road, Nineveh, were charged by North Franklin police with possession of drugs and paraphernalia for allegedly having multiple needles containing heroin and empty stamp bags in a vehicle in Gander Mountain’s parking lot June 8. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft reported: Dante Julius Mallary, 25, of 145 Jollick Manor, Washington, was charged by North Franklin police with theft for allegedly failing to deposit more than $740 belonging to Long John Silver’s, where he was employed as a manager. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Assault arrest: John McAnany, 75, of 4 Cara Drive, Canonsburg, was arrested Friday morning by North Strabane police on charges of simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting his mother-in-law, Anna Kostelich, at her Greenwood Drive home. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

Loitering, trespass charges: Anthony M. Dorchak, 35, of 302 Oak Alley, Canonsburg, was charged by North Strabane police with loitering and prowling at night and criminal trespass after he reportedly kept walking past a woman’s first-floor room at Hampton Inn, 465 Johnson Road, early Saturday. He then allegedly called her room and asked if she was single. Police said they received several other complaints about him hanging around area motels. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Disorderly, harassment charges: Christopher Horney, 44, of New Castle, will be charged by state police with harassment and disorderly conduct after he allegedly struck Matthew Staniszewski, 29, of New Kensington, and caused a disturbance Sunday night at The Meadows Casino, North Strabane. Police said Horney became angry after losing a game of blackjack.

Three injured: Jason Batten, 28, of Fairmont, W.Va., and two passengers, Kathleen Batten, 33, of Pittsburgh, and a 1-year-old girl, were injured Saturday night when their vehicle hit a deer on Interstate 79 near the Canonsburg exit in North Strabane, state police said.

Items stolen: A resident of the 200 block of Village Green Drive, McMurray, told police Saturday she had workmen inside her house and discovered a silver-plated music box that she kept jewelry in was missing. Also missing were a diamond ring and four other rings valued at more than $10,000.

Flag stolen: An American flag valued at $50 was reported stolen Saturday from a residence in the 100 block of Lintel Drive in McMurray.

Unit burgled: Someone broke into a storage unit at TARR Storage, 3054 Washington Road, Thursday. Stolen were a number of boxes that contained model trains, as well as an adult bicycle, $12.50 in quarters and a beach cart.

Disorderly charge: Nicholas Campbell, 28, of 307 Lincoln Terrace, Washington, was charged by South Strabane police with public intoxication and disorderly conduct after he allegedly overdosed on heroin while riding a Washington Rides bus on East Beau Street Thursday. He reportedly admitted to police, who found two empty stamp bags, that he used the drug on the bus. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Drug charges: George E. Sadler Jr., 25, of 63 W. Hallam Ave., Washington, was arrested Saturday by state police on charges of possession of marijuana, cocaine and paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop on Highland Avenue and Walnut Street, Washington. Police said they could smell marijuana. In a bag in the trunk, police said they found four bags of suspected marijuana, cocaine, a scale and $649. Sadler was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Two face charges: Shayla Chandler, 18, of 52 Laurel Lane, Washington, and Savannah Johnson, 18, of 512 E. Chestnut St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with harassment after they allegedly grabbed Faith Hartzol, 19, of Washington, by the hair and struck her as she walked in the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue on Sunday.

Wallet, cash stolen: George Patterson of 655 Henderson Ave. told Washington police Sunday his wallet containing $100, identification and credit cards was stolen from his home.

Harassment charge: Patrick Hughey, 40, of 725 Addison St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with harassment for allegedly choking Richard Dillard, 49, of 520 Broad St., during a confrontation at Dillard’s home Sunday.

Vehicles scratched: Mark Greco told Washington police Saturday that two vehicles parked at his home at 60 Mill St. were scratched by vandals.

Vehicle damaged: Emily Rush of Washington told Washington police Saturday that her vehicle was damaged while parked on Osage Avenue.

Harassment charges: Aaliyah Dillard, 20, of 114 Maple Terrace, Washington, and Kwielan Dates, 37, of 276 Locust Ave., Washington, will be charged with harassment by Washington police for allegedly assaulting Tara Johnson, 36, of Washington, Saturday near the intersection of Franklin and West Chestnut streets.

Window broken: Tonya Moyer of 480 Shirls Ave. told Washington police Saturday a front window at her home was broken.

Vehicle damaged: Janay Johnson of Washington told Washington police Saturday that a window was broken and a tire damaged on her vehicle while it was parked at 1165 Arch St.

Theft charge: Devan Ramos, 23, of 845 Fayette St., Washington, was charged by Washington police with theft for allegedly failing to return golf clubs valued at $850 to her ex-boyfriend. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Bar fight: Ashley Knestrick, 28, of 50 Maple St., Muse, was charged by Washington police with attempted simple assault and disorderly conduct for allegedly hitting Brandy Evanovich in the face multiple times Friday at Fifty Yard Line bar on Henderson Avenue. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Retail theft: Lori Sergi, 41, of 199 North Main St., Washington, was charged by Washington police with retail theft for allegedly stealing items valued at $76 from Shop ‘n Save April 11. Police said she had an active arrest warrant out of Fayette County and six prior retail theft convictions. She was arrested and taken to Washington County jail. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft charge: Casondra Renee Mason, 23, of 109 West Walnut St., Washington, was charged by city police with theft for allegedly stealing $455 from her uncle, Jeff Tenney, at his residence in the 900 block of Jefferson Avenue on April 30. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charge: Julio Sanchez Jr., 36, of 223 Lincoln Terrace, Washington, was taken by ambulance to a hospital April 12 to be treated for overdose symptoms after Washington police said they found him with a needle in his arm. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charges: David R. Harden III, 32, of 316 Hopkins Run Rd., Sycamore, was charged by Washington police with endangering the welfare of children and drug possession for allegedly having two stamp bags of heroin and three empty stamp bags at a residence on Wilson Avenue June 25. Police said Harden’s 4-year-old son ran outside the house and told someone his father was dead. Harden was revived by EMS, and the child was turned over to his mother. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft charge: Jared Clemens, 22, was charged by Washington police with theft Friday for allegedly failing to return $113 to Three Guyz Pizza, where he was employed as a delivery driver. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Mother charged: Carey Ann Mock, 44, of 515 Station Road, Scenery Hill, was arrested Friday by state police after she allegedly assaulted her daughter, Abigail Mock, at their West Bethlehem home. She was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of simple assault and harassment. She was released on $50,000 unsecured bond.
