The Waynesburg University men’s and women’s cross country teams will host a distance running forum Saturday on campus.

The event is designed to help high school coaches and runners make the transition to college competition.

The forum will begin at 1 p.m. at the Goodwin Performing Arts Center. The schedule of events includes:

• 1 to 2 p.m.: “Front Runner” Training – Waynesburg University

• 2 to 3 p.m.: Transitioning Into College Running (high school athletes)

• 3 to 3:45 p.m.: Developing Captains – Leadership session

• 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.: Learn by Doing Exercises – Abdominals and dynamic drills

• 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.: Optional campus tours
