Woman arrested: Naadia Marie Dates, 22, of 805 Ewing St., Washington, was arrested by state police on charges of simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief after she allegedly hit Maurice Scott in the right eye and tossed a chair through the window of a home at 55 Laurie Lane in Amwell Township. She also is accused of hitting Gleda Caliz. Dates was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
Vehicles stolen: An all-terrain vehicle and dirt bike were reported stolen Monday from property on Rural Valley Road, Buffalo. Anyone with information is asked to call 724-223-5200.
Wheelchair stolen: Carol Martinez of 129 Greenside Ave. told Canonsburg police Monday her husband’s wheelchair was stolen from their back porch.
Wall damaged: A retaining wall in the lot of First Methodist Church, 161 W. Pike St., was reported damaged over the weekend, Canonsburg police said.
Gasoline stolen: Linda Seader of 174 Spring Road, Centerville, told state police July 1 gasoline was siphoned from two vehicles parked on her property.
Assault arrest: Phillip Vogel, 46, of 356 N. Main St., Chartiers, was arrested early Tuesday by township police on charges of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly head-butted a 17-year-old boy during a confrontation at their home. The teen reportedly pushed Vogel against a door, and the two wrestled one another to the floor. Police said Vogel fled but was later located. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond. He also faces a probation violation charge.
Assault, resisting charges: Eric Matthew Smatlak, 29, of North Huntington, was arrested Saturday by state police after he allegedly got into a confrontation with his father on Route 40 in Claysville and then struggled with troopers as they tried to take him into custody. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, public drunkenness and resisting arrest. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Assault arrest: Cody D. Kimmel, 21, of 612 St. Nicholas Drive, Donora, was arrested Monday by Donora police after he allegedly punched Kendall Togni in the eye as she held their 1-year-old daughter during a confrontation at 914 Gallatin Drive, Highland Terrace. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
One injured: Gordon Noble, 47, of McKeesport, was injured Monday when his dump truck rolled over on Interstate 70 near the Kammerer exit in Somerset Township. State police said he was trying to avoid a vehicle driven by Kaitlyn Michalow, 19, of Bentleyville, that spun into his path.
Money stolen: South Strabane police said $488 was reported stolen Monday from the cash register in the Dominick’s of New York food truck outside Lowe’s, Strabane Square.
Money, jewelry stolen: Michaelynne Patterson of 500 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Monday money was stolen from a small safe in her apartment and jewelry was stolen from her bedroom.
Harassment charge: Jessica Watts, 27, of 123 Maple Terrace, Washington, was charged Monday with harassment after she allegedly struck the site manager at Maple Terrace in the head after she was notified that she was being evicted.
Restaurant, tavern cited: The operators of the Southside Restaurant, 347-352 S. Main St., Washington, and Triple T’s Tavern, 30 Oregon St., Washington, were cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for failing to clean the malt or brewed beverage dispensing system at least once every seven days.
Club cited: The operators of the Legion Club of West Brownsville, 800 Middle St., were cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allowing gambling or operating gambling devices June 2.
