A Claysville man was arraigned Wednesday on a warrant obtained by state police in connection with the alleged sexual assaults of a teenage girl from the middle of 2013 through last November.

Christopher M. Glass, 44, of 205 Ramage Road, was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of rape, corruption of minors and indecent assault.

State police said the girl was 13 and 14 at the time of the alleged assaults. Police were contacted after the girl reported the alleged incidents to her mother and grandmother. The girl told investigators Glass first exposed himself to her. Glass also allegedly fondled the girl.

When she asked him what he was doing, Glass allegedly responded he was trying to have sex with her.

The girl alleged during another incident, he forcibly kissed her before removing her pants and having sex with her.

When she told him it was rape, Glass allegedly got angry at her. She said he also kissed her on at least one other occasion.

The girl also told police Glass watched pornography.

Glass was placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond. He faces a preliminary hearing Wednesday in Central Court.
